About Backcountry Bodywork
I believe that we all have an innate ability to heal… That through the process of self discovery and grounding, we can meet ourselves in our most true and raw nature… That by entering each day with intention, we can better align our body, mind and spirit.
Through my own self exploration, I have found safety, grounding, and healing in the stillest of moments…
These practices have given me a perspective on life that I will cherish forever… And this is what I hope to share with you.

Growing up in Bend, Oregon, I learned how to play at an early age. From skiing at Mt. Bachelor with my dad, family climbing days at Smith Rock, and grueling runs in the Central Cascades. These moments were the framework that lead me into many mountain sport obsessions today.
My initial interest in the sports medicine and holistic wellness field sprouted from early childhood being raised by my mom, a massage therapist and fitness instructor, and my dad, a former martial artist, ski alpinist, and mountaineer who would drag me to the gym at the mere age of 10.

My early career began its development in a small non-profit physical therapy clinic near Aspen, Colorado that specialized in neurorehabilitation and mobility. Through the use of robotic exoskeletons, and other cutting-edge equipment, we helped people with varying neurological conditions to regain mobility and live a better quality of life. This work changed my life, gave me perspective, and helped me to trust that I was in the right field.
As my interest continued to be fueled by the people I was working with, I found myself at a Sports and Regenerative Medical clinic that specialized in performance optimization and injury rehabilitation for high-end athletes. Here I continued to deepen my understanding of how we can utilize advanced, state-of-the-art medical equipment to help increase our bodies natural abilities to heal ourselves.
Through working with such a diverse client population, I learned how to meet people exactly where they were in their own journey. We are all unique individuals who want to live healthy and fulfilled lives. This work is lifelong.
